Snowshoe Hike at Holmboe Conifer Forest

Get out with NWLT for this free guided snowshoe walk on Tuesday, March 5 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm at the Holmboe Conifer Forest State Natural Area located in Rhinelander. This property is a great venue to snowshoe among old-growth hemlocks and see what other animals signs we can find along the way.
Participants will be snowshoeing on trail for about a mile. Participants need to bring their own snowshoes. To register for the event, please register online (see below) or contact the NWLT office at 715-479-2490 or email troy@northwoodslandtrust.org by Monday, March 4. Space is limited.
Directions to Holmboe Conifer Forest State Natural Area – The parking area is located in the City of Rhinelander behind the Riverview Hall facility at 903 Boyce Dr. You can type ‘Holmboe Conifer Forest Trailhead’ into Google Maps.
