You are invited to the Northwoods Land Trust’s (NWLT) 2024 Annual Meeting & Social on Friday, June 21 at 1 pm at the Kemp Natural Resources Station’s Connor Forestry Center in Woodruff.
After recent program accomplishments are shared, we’ll welcome guest presenter and photographer Joshua Mayer. He’ll guide us through his personal quest to visit all 694 of Wisconsin’s State Natural Areas (SNAs). Through his lens, we’ll discover and gain a deep understanding of the significance of SNAs and the importance of preserving them for future generations. He’ll feature some of his favorite SNAs and explain why they are special to him.
Following the meeting, gather for an hour-long social to connect with
fellow land trust members and enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
After the social, an optional hike on the grounds of the Kemp Natural
Resources Station will be led by NWLT board members John Bates and Ron Eckstein.
Together, we’ll celebrate recent conservation projects and program accomplishments that you helped make happen.
