
Volunteer Information Day at Tower Nibiiwan

The Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) is hosting a volunteer information day on Wednesday, April 26th from 1-3 pm at Tower Nibiiwan Conservation Area in Sugar Camp. NWLT Land Conservation Associate Frank Schroyer will lead prospective volunteers through the property while discussing activities that can be done throughout the year to help monitor and maintain the trails and land. Volunteers may then sign up as official land stewards of this 31-acre property donated to NWLT in 2022.

Participants should bring work gloves, proper attire, bug spray, and water/snacks, and will be hiking for about one mile. Be sure to check the weather a day in advance, as this event will happen rain or shine. Trails may be muddy at this time of year.
