Join staff from the Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) and a Minocqua Winter Park (MWP) representative for a hike along the newly created Two Towers Trail at MWP. This 5 km loop visits the two highest points at the popular winter recreation facility. The trail is within the 3,195-acre conservation easement currently held by NWLT.
At this time of year, bugs should be at a minimum and fall colors should be nearing their maximum! Scenic overlooks in the heavily forested, fairly flat part of northern Wisconsin are not all that common, so this should provide great panoramic views. You should be able to see parts of the Yukon and Squirrel River from various vantage points.
Please note: this hike is rated as strenuous due to the vertical relief encountered.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register. The hike will be limited to 12 people.
