Land Trust Days Hike at Beaver Creek Hemlocks

September 24 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Celebrate the work of Wisconsin Land Trusts by joining a hike through the recently acquired 240-acre Northwoods Land Trust owned Beaver Creek Hemlocks property in Iron County.  This mature mixed forest has some very large eastern hemlocks and yellow birch amongst a nice stand of sugar maples, which should be starting to reveal the yellow and orange colors of the season.  We plan on hiking around 3 miles utilizing a combination of trails and likely some short off trail jaunts as well, pointing out natural features along the way. Trail conditions are moderate as it requires some bushwhacking, and navigation through mixed terrain including uneven, sloped areas and a wet area.  *Event is limited to 15 people.*

Please register online here or by contacting Troy Walters at (715) 479-2490 or troy@northwoodslandtrust.org
