Beaver Creek Hemlocks Fall Hike

October 5 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Join Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) and North Lakeland Discovery Center (NLDC) for this free guided hike on Wednesday, October 5 from 1-3 pm at the Beaver Creek Hemlocks Conservation Area on Route 182 in the Town of Sherman in Iron County. Since acquiring the property in 2021, a small parking lot has been created, hiking trails cleared, trail markers installed, and a boardwalk has been built to increase public usability and enjoyment.

Participants will be hiking approximately 2.5 miles utilizing a combination of newly cleared foot trails and venturing off-trail as well to explore the flora and fauna at Beaver Creek Hemlocks.  Participants need to bring appropriate foot wear, water, bug spray, and rain gear.  To register for the event, please contact the NWLT office at 715-479-2490 or email troy@northwoodslandtrust.org.

Directions to Beaver Creek Hemlocks – The parking area is located on the east side of Route 182 across from Fire #387N,  four miles south of Springstead and 15 miles east of Park Falls. GPS coordinates are 45.99190, -90.17013.
