Join Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) for this guided cross-country ski or snowshoe hike on Thursday, March 6 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm at Minocqua Winter Park. Participants will be cross-county skiing at least 5 miles or snowshoeing 2 to 2.5 miles over uneven terrain.
Participants will need to purchase a (reduced rate) trail pass upon arrival to Winter Park, and bring gear in good working order (snowshoes, or classic cross-country or skate ski). Gear rentals are available at the Winter Park Ski Shop – see www.minocquawinterpark.org for rental rates.
The land surrounding the chalet area at Winter Park is home to NWLT’s largest conservation easement at 3,195-acres in size.
