Join Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) along with guest Susan Knight, Emeritus Scientist III at UW-Trout Lake’s Center for Limnology, to explore bogs at Tower Nibiiwan Conservation Area – glacially created wetlands relatively common in northern Wisconsin. Learn about plants and unique adaptations required to live in this environment.
The hike will be approximately 1 mile in length over dirt trails, boardwalks, and stopping to step on bog surfaces.
To register for the event, please register using the link below, or contact the NWLT office at 715-479-2490 or email troy@northwoodslandtrust.org by August 12. Space is limited.
This event is a part of the Wisconsin Land Trust Days celebration featuring family-friendly events that take place every year in July, August, and September.
